Find a safe starting resin profile
for dental 3D printing

Pick your printer, resin, indication, layer height, temperature and priority. The advisor searches an approved local source database, ranks evidence by confidence, and returns a conservative starting profile with warnings and a required calibration step.

🔎

Honest evidence

Every output is tied to ranked sources A–F. No invented citations.

📐

Modeled, not guessed

A fitted Jacobs working curve computes exposure for any layer height.

🎯

Learns from you

Calibrate once and the app saves your validated profile (tier V).

This tool does not guarantee print success or clinical validity. It never presents community or AI-estimated settings as validated truth. Always follow the resin Instructions for Use (IFU/TDS), validated printer workflow, washing/curing protocol, and local regulatory requirements.

How it works

From design to a defensible profile

🦷1

Describe the job

Printer, resin, indication, layer height, temperature and priority — six quick steps. Wavelength compatibility is checked as you go.

🔎2

Search approved evidence

The advisor queries a curated local source database and ranks what it finds by an honest confidence tier — your own validated profiles (V) and manufacturer IFUs (A) on top, community profiles (E) clearly marked.

📐3

Model the exposure

A fitted Jacobs working curve computes exposure for any layer height, then corrections for temperature, resin pigment and LCD age are applied transparently — every factor shown.

🎯4

Calibrate & remember

You print a calibration test, report what you saw, and the app converges on your exposure and saves it as a validated tier-V profile — so it gets smarter for your exact setup.

Required step

Exposure calibration guide

No starting profile is production-ready until you validate exposure on your exact printer + resin + temperature. Run one of these before printing real cases.

Know the thinking, not just the number

Setting Intelligence

Every slicer setting explained the way a dental lab thinks: what it controls, when to raise or lower it, what it risks clinically, and how it interacts with everything else. Values always depend on your printer, resin, color and temperature — adjust in small steps and validate with a calibration object before clinical work.

Failure-mode diagnostics

My print failed — what now?

Work through the failure like a lab checklist: where it failed, what evidence is known, which symptoms match, what is safe to change, and which one-variable test proves the next step.

Assistant Q&A

Answers come from the app's built-in knowledge base over its own evidence and rules — clearly labeled. Connect your own AI backend below for free-form answers (off by default).

🔌 AI backend (optional — disabled by default)

Point to your own endpoint (e.g. a small server proxying an LLM API). The app POSTs {question, context} as JSON and shows the reply, labeled as AI. Your key is stored only in this browser. Without a backend, the offline knowledge base answers.

Source database editor

Curated seed database

The advisor only uses entries in this database. Add a source to extend coverage (held in memory for this session — the online-search adapter is stubbed and inactive in this MVP).

Optional: attach a numeric profile to this source

If the source publishes exact settings, enter them and they will participate in evidence matching at the tier you selected above. Leave blank to add the source as reference only. Unpublished fields stay empty — never guessed.
